What should I include when I write?

  • The screen where you had the problem and what you were trying to do.
  • The error message you saw.
  • Your BooksMy version and iOS version.

You can also use Settings › General › Support in the app. The email draft adds the app version and device model; you can edit it before sending. If there is no option to write an email, use Copy Address and switch to your own mail app.

If you send a screenshot, hide your personal notes. Don’t send your whole library, your backup, your Apple Account password, or payment details.

I have a backup or Pro problem

First check the steps to restore a backup or the answer about restoring Pro. Write to support without deleting the app or your backup, and without paying again for Pro.

What’s new in 3.0.0

Release notes

If you’re updating from 2.2.1, you can find the books you have finished in BooksMy › Finished. Did Not Finish shows books you stopped reading, and All shows your whole library. These filters don’t delete books. You don’t need to pay again for a Pro purchase you made before.

  • A reading timer on the book page that you can pause and resume.
  • Completed sessions you can edit in Reading History.
  • Notes and quotes with page details; text scanning and dictation you can review before saving.
  • Daily, monthly, and yearly goals, Pace, the reading calendar, and Year in Review.
